Welcome to my  
website. This is for
Melissa Lowe Richardson
& "Blue Dove Ministries" -
a name that hopefully
catches your attention!
Why would I include a name like "Blue Dove Ministries" on my personal website? After all, you may say, aren’t doves white? Yes, doves are white. But sometimes we are not. Sometimes our hearts are so full of pain and agony that we feel very “blue”.

I understand those “blue” feelings that everyone has. What I hope to do for the people I meet in my daily life is to show God’s light that illuminates the paths for His children. Only with God’s guidance can we break free from the pain of the past, the perils of the present, and the uncertainty of the future.

I want to help others heal their "blue" hearts by showing them God's love and by someday publishing the Christian books for adults and children that I've been working on (well, off and on) for the last several years. My books-in-progress show believable, contemporary characters who struggle to find their place in the world in the midst of daily obstacles. Someday, I hope to be able to add to the “Books by Melissa” section some details on my entertaining, spiritually-uplifting books that I'm working on now in my spare time.
